Given that the side of square is p cm and Pis one third of breath of rectangle and length is 1 cm more the breadth rectangle

Then breadth =3p and length =3p+1

So area of rectangle =3p(3p+1)=$3p(3p+1)=9p^2+3p$

If a square of side p cut in to rectangle

Then the area of square =$p^2$

So Remaining area left of rectangle after cutting of square =$9p^2+3p+p^2=(8p^2+3p)$ sq cm
