Let $l = 2 b$
$2 (l + b) = 840$
$2 (2 b + b) = 840$
$6 b = 840$
$b = \frac{840}{6} = 140$
so $l = 140 \times 2 = 280$

$A r e a = l \times b = 140 \times 280 = 39200 m^{2}$
