Let the breadth of the rectangular park be b.
∴ Length of the rectangular park=l=2b
Perimeter = 0.84 km
0.84=2 l+b0.84=2 2b+b0.84=23b0.84=6bb=0.14 kmb=0.14×1000 mb=140 mThus, we have:l=2b =2×140 =280 m

Area=l×b =280×140 =39200 m2
