Length of minute hand$=14cm$

Now, angle made by minute hand in $1min=$ $\frac{{360}^0}{{60}^0}=6^0$

$\therefore$ area swept by minute hand $=\frac{6^0}{{360}^0}\times \pi r^2=\frac{6^0}{{360}^0}\times \frac{22}{7}\times 14\times 14$

$=\frac{154}{15}=10.26{cm}^2$
