The lens of the goggles are curved but why doesn't it has power?

Power in a lens is achieved when the glasses bend light but in a sunglass lens, the light is not lens in a similar manner as it does in a curved lense, because they are made up of uniform thickness throughout which is not the case for optical lenses used in correcting glasses.
