The correct option is B A=7760 and B=8
Length of wall of the museum =8536 cm.
Each painting has a width of 97 cm.

∴ To find number of paintings, divide 8536 by 97.

So, by applying distibutive property the number 8536 can be written as 7760+776.

∴ Calculate 8536÷97 as 8536÷97=(7760÷97)+(776÷97)

Upon calculating the numbers by applying box method,



Therefore, the dividend is broken as:
8536=7760+776.

And, the final quotient will be =80+8=88.

You get the same quotient by using the following method as well:


Comparing this to the given calculation, you find the unknown numbers as follows:

A=7760 and B=8.
