A
31.25

B
56.25

C
625

D
62.5

Solution

The correct option is C $$625$$

Diameter $$=56\ cm$$

Radius $$= 28\ cm$$ (half of diameter)

$$1.1\ km = 1,10,000\ cm$$

Then, total distance covered in one revolution $$=2 \pi r = 2\times \dfrac{22}{7}\times 28cm = 176cm$$

Hence, total no. of revolutions $$= \dfrac{110000}{176} = 625$$
