Magnet kept with its axis at an angle θ with a magnetic field will undergo angular SHM.



Equation of angular SHM is given by
α=ω2θ(1)

Torque acting on the magnet
τ=M×B
=MBsinθ
For very small θ, τ=MBθ
(because torque is in the opposite direction of θ)

τ=MBθ
Iα=MBθ
α=(MBI)θ
where I is the moment of inertia.

Comparing with (1),
ω=MBI
Time period T=2πω
=2πIMB
i.e T1B
