Applying nodal analysis at node P, we have:

VIV11+VIV212=0

or, 2VI(V1+V2)=2

or, VI=[2+(V1+V2)2] ....(i)

Also,V1V2=1 volt and V1=1 volt

V2=V11=11=0 volt

Putting values of V1 and V2 is equation (i), we get:

VI=[2+(1+0)2]=32 volt

Power delivered by the current source

=V1.I=32×2 [I=2A(given)]

=3W
