The statement is true.
Two consecutive integers can be n and (n + 1).
One of these two must be divisible by 2.
Hence, their product is divisible by 2.

Example : Let the two consecutive positive integers are 2,3.

Product of 2,3=2×3=6

So, 6 is divisible by 2.
