Refractive index of diamond with respect to glass, $μ_{d g} = 1.6 \Rightarrow \frac{μ_{d}}{μ_{g}} = 1.6 \Rightarrow \frac{μ_{d}}{1.5} = 1.6 ∴ μ_{d} = 1.5 \times 1.6 = 2.4$
