The correct option is A
$2 x^{2} - 4 x$

Let the other binomial be $P$ .

Then, $(3 x^{2} - 2 x) + P$ = $5 x^{2} - 6 x$

$⟹ P$ $= (5 x^{2} - 6 x) - (3 x^{2} - 2 x)$
$= 5 x^{2} - 6 x - 3 x^{2} + 2 x$
$= 2 x^{2} - 4 x$
