$x+y=100$.........................eq1

their difference is 50

$x-y=50$.................................eq2

on adding both equations we get

$x+y=100$

$x-y=50$

putting value of x=75 we get y=25

75+y=100

y=25

ratio of two numbers will be $75:25=3:1$
