Given, total surface area of cylinder 616cm2
2πr(r+h)=616............(1)
curved surface areatotal surface area=12
2πrh2πr(r+h)=hr+h=12
2h=r+h,r=h
Substituting this value in equation (1), we get
2πr2r=616
4r2π=616
r=7,h=7
volume of the cylinder =π(72)(7)=1078cm3=1078cu.cm.
