The correct option is B $3, - \frac{1}{2}$
Put z= $\frac{1}{y}$ in the given simultaneous equations they may be written as
2x -3z=12 ....(i)
5x+7z=1 ....(ii)
Solving equations (i) and (ii) we get
x=3, x=-2
