The weight of a metal block of size 5 cm by 4 cm by 3 cm is 1 kg. Find the weight of a block of the same metal of size 15 cm by 8 cm by 3 cm.

Dimensions of a metal block
= $5cm\times 4cm\times 3cm=5\times 4\times 3=60c{m}^3$
Dimensions of second block
= $15cm\times 8cm\times 3cm=15\times 8\times 3$
=$360c{m}^3$
But weight of first block = 1 kg
$\therefore$ Weight of second block
= $\frac{1}{60}\times 360=6kg$
