Solution

The correct option is A 20000
The width of Indian letter=5×101 mm

A pack of Indian letters have a width of 10 m.

You know,
1m =1000mm=10×10×10 mm=101×101×101 mm=101+1+1 mm [ ax×ay=ax+y ] = 103mm

Width of the pack of the Indian letters can be written as, 10m =10×1 m=10× 103 mm=101+3 mm [ ax × ay=ax+y ] =104 mm

∴ Number of Indian letters in the pack will be
1045×101=104(1)5=104+15 [ axay=axy ]=1055=101+1+1+1+15=10×10×10×10×105=2×10×10×10×10=20,000

So, the number of Indian letters in the pack will be = 20000
