(i) We can use water to extinguish the small and short-range fire.
(ii) We can also use a CO₂ extinguisher to put out the heavy fire or fire started due to oils. CO₂ extinguisher uses carbon dioxide gas to cut the supply of oxygen from the combustible substance.
