Let first term of 1st AP = a

Let first term of 2nd AP = a'

It is given that their common difference is same. Let their common difference be d.

It is given that difference between their 100th terms is 100.
Using formula an = a + (n−1) d, to find nth term of arithmetic progression, we can say that

[a+(1001)d][a+(1001)d]=100a+99da99d=100

aa=100 ........ (1)

We want to find difference between their 1000th terms which means we want to calculate:

a+(10001)d(a+(10001)d)=a+999da999d=aa
=100 .........from(1)

Difference between their 1000th terms would be equal to 100.
