Let % of detergent A in final mixture be $A$%

According to question $\frac{A}{100}\times \frac{40}{100}+$ ($\frac{100-A}{100}$) $\times \frac{1}{4}$ = $\frac{35}{100}$

Solving we get $A=\frac{200}{3}$%
