Given two cubes have their faces as red or blue, first cube has five faces as red and one as blue.
Probability of first cube to have its face as red =56
and Probability of first cube to have its face as blue =16

Let the second cube has x faces as red.
Probability of second cube to have its face as red =x6
and Probability of second cube to have its face as blue =1x6

Given, probability that the two top faces show the same colour,
P(RR or BB)=12
56x6+166x6=12
5x+6x=18
4x=12
x=3
