Solution

The correct option is C all the above options are incorrect
Discharging equation :  $$Q_A=Q_0e^{-t/CR_A},   Q_B=Q_0e^{-t/CR_B}$$
time constant, $$\tau_A=CR_A  $$ and $$\tau_B=CR_B$$
as $$R_A>R_B $$ so $$ \tau_A>\tau_B$$
Thus A will discharge slowly than B but they will discharge completely at $$t=\infty$$.
As they have same capacitance and potential so in both case heat energy will be same.
