The correct option is B $9$
$x + 2 x = 3$
$⟹ 3 x = 3$
$⟹ x = 1$
$∴ 2 x = 2$
Sum of the cubes $= x^{3} + (2 x)^{3}$
$= 1^{3} + 2^{3} = 9$
