Given,
m1=3 kg,m2=6 kg
r1=2 m;r2=4 m (perpendicular distances of m1 and m2 from axis AB)
Let us consider 3 kg is at the origin along axis AB. Then r1=0,r2=r1+r2=6 m moment of inertia of two particle system about AB is
IAB=m1r21+m2r22
=3(0)+6(6)2=216 kg-m2
