Given,

l= length of both the metallic stripes,
t= thickness of both the metallic stripes,

let l1 and l2 be the final length of the metallic stripes after
expansion due to ΔT change.
Δl=l2l1=(lα2ΔTlα1ΔT)

We know,

Δl=θΔr Here, θ is constant as same arc angle is made by both the stripes.
and, Δr=t

then θ=l(α2α1)ΔTt=lr

r=t(α2α1)ΔT
