The correct option is D $50$ litres
Capacity of $1$ st tanker $= 150$ litres
Capacity of $2$ nd tanker $= 100$ litres

Capacity of container which can be used to measure petrol exactly $=$ HCF $(150, 100)$

By Prime Factorisation,
$150 = 2 \times 3 \times 5^{2}$
$100 = 2^{2} \times 5^{2}$

H.C.F. $= 2 \times 5^{2} = 50$
