Capacity of $$1$$st tanker $$= 150$$ litres
Capacity of $$2$$nd tanker $$= 100$$ litres

Capacity of container which can be used to measure petrol exactly $$=$$ HCF$$(150,100)$$

By Prime Factorisation,
$$150 = 2\times 3\times 5^{2}$$
$$100 = 2^{2}\times 5^{2}$$

H.C.F. $$= 2\times 5^{2} = 50$$
Hence, the answer is $$50$$ litres.
