The correct option is B 17 litres
In order to find the maximum capacity of a container which can measure the oil in both tanks, we need to find the HCF of 68 and 85.

1768,85 4, 5​​​​​​

​Since there are no common factors for 4 and 5 we cannot factorise it further.

Hence the highest number which divides 85 and 68 is 17.

The measuring container should be of 17 litres.
