Water flows at the rate of 10m/min. through a cylindrical pipe 5mm in diameter. How long in sec would it take to fill a conical vessel whose diameter at the base is 40cm and depth 24cm?

We know that,Volume of cylindrical =πr2H
and Volume of cone=13π(r)2(h)
Volume of cylinder=π(0.52)2(1000)=196.25cu. cm/min

Volume of cone=13π(20)2(24)=10048cm3

Time taken is 10048196.25=51.2 min =3072 sec
