= 20+34+42+56+64+29+41+30+359

= 3519

= 39

If we introduce 109 to this data set and add it to the existing value we get :

Mean = Sum of observationsNo. of Observations

= 351+10910

= 46010

= 46

Change in Mean = 46 - 39 = 7
