Solution

Blood:

  1. The color of human blood is red.
  2. Red blood is caused by haemoglobin, which absorbs oxygen due to the formation of a chemical bond between iron and oxygen.
  3. Few animals have sulfhaemoglobin in their blood.
  4. The sulphur prevents the formation of a bond between iron and oxygen, thus causing green blood.
  5. Sulfhaemoglobinemia is a rare condition when the human body starts to generate green blood.
  6. Also, grasshoppers and a genus of lizards, i.e. Prasinohaema have green blood.
