Chloroplast, leucoplast, and chromoplast are the types of plastids present in the plant cells. Chloroplasts are the sites of photosynthesis as they contain chlorophyll pigment. Glucose is made here and also stored in the form of starch. Leucoplasts are colorless plastids that perform the function of storage of oil, starch, proteins etc.
