Inner transition elements

The elements constituting the f-block are those in which 4f and 5f orbitals are progressively filled. These elements are formal members of group 3 but are shown separately as fblock of the periodic table. The elements of fblock are also called inner transition elements.

These includes lanthanoids (Z=5871) and actinoids (Z=90103).

From the given atomic numbers, the inner transition elements are the ones with atomic numbers 59,95 and 102.
