One of the most important element of weather and climate is solar radiation. Solar radiation depends upon the latitude , season and cloud cover.
The tropical regions receive plenty of sunshine as compared to temperate region because the Sun's rays fall directly over the region where as in the temperate regions the Sun's rays are slanted.
