1. An echo is a reflection of sound that is heard by the observer with some delay after the sound is released from the source.
2. This delay in reaching sound is directly proportional to the distance of the echoing surface from the observer point.
3. Some examples of the echo are Echo produced by the bottom surface of a well, echo produced by a wall, reverberation (Echo in cinema halls) etc.
