Solution:
A Kasba was a larger administrational unit than a village and used to have a larger population.
Agriculture was the primary occupation of the people in the Kasba followed by carpentry and metal work.
The Kasbas also used to have markets called peths which were managed by Watandar officers namely the Shetes and the Mahajans.
