What is difference between the additive and multiplitive inverse?

Additive inverse :- When a number is added to its additive inverse, the result zero. Additive inverse of a number is either the negative form of a positive integer or the positive form of a negative integer.




Multiplicative inverse :- Multiplicative inverse is the number with which a given number is multiplied so that the resultant is 1. Therefore, the multiplicative inverse of a given number is its reciprocal.
