What is rotatory motion?

  1. The movement of any object around an axis is known as rotatory motion. The fan of a helicopter grasping around a pivot is a generalized example of this mechanism. The particular body is forenamed to acquire rotational motion if all of the particles move along rings in parallel planes. The axis of rotation deceives on a stiff line upright to the parallel planes at the center of these rings.
  2. The twisting effect of the force around the rotational axis is explained by the moment of force or torque caused by an external force. The product of inferred force and its upright distance from the rotational axis is torque.
  3. Wherever the rigid body is in rotational equilibrium, the algebraic summing of the clockwise and anticlockwise moments is equal to zero. Then Clockwise moment = Anticlockwise moment
  4. A pair is formed by the interaction of two equal and opposite forces acting on a rigid body along two separate lines of action. Although the total outside force is zero, the torque in a couple of cases is not. The product of forces or the upright distance is used to calculate the coupled moment for rigid body rotation motion.
