Open in App
Solution

Terrace farming is a type of agricultural practice in which the slopes of hills are used to create several platforms by cutting series of flat surfaces. The crops are grown on these platforms. This is a most effective technique as it prevents water clogging and water runoffs due to rainfall can deposit the washed away nutrients in the next step. Terrace farming is performed in Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala in India.
