Open in App
Solution

A coil is a wire which is bend in shape ofcircle.

While solenoid is also a wire but with many coils (that means like spring) this wire is made of copper and is insulated and wrapped in the shape of a cylinder.

And that this coil and solenoid do not produce the same form of magnetic field. And that the magnetic field produced by a solenoid is similar to the magnetic field produced by bar magnet.(as it has two poles north and the south pole).
