Question

What is the dimensional formula of moment of force?

Open in App
Solution

We have unit of mass as Kg dimensions are [M1][L0][T0] unit of acceleration as m/s2 dimensionally expressed as [M0][L1][T2] hence we have unit of force as Kg×m/s2

So dimensionally it can be written as [M1][L0][T0]×[M0][L1][T0][M0][L0][T2]=Kg×ms2

Hence we get dimensional formula as [M1][L1][T2]
