What is the need of knowing mean and average or the RMS value of current or voltage in a circuit ????

Whatever the value of Current or Voltage we take ( Average , Mean , RMS)
It is to Findout The Power Dissipated By a System According to the Equation : Pavg = Vrms × Irms ( To findout Power dissipated we take Rms value of AC Since average value gives zero because it is calculated over a cycle which has positive and negative part which results in zero)

AC is more dangerous than DC

This is because DC= 220V supply

but for AC supply, it is the root2 × 220 that is approximately 311V
Hence AC more dangerous than DC
