The correct option is D

(2, -1)


2x + 3y = 1 ___(1)

-x + y = -3 ____(2)

Multiplying equation (2) by 2

-2x + 2y = -6 ___(3)

Adding (1) and (3), we get

5y = -5

y = -1

Plugging the value of y in equation (2)

-x - 1 = -3

x = 2
