Working principle :
- The working of the transformer is based on the mutual inductance principle.
- Mutual inductance principle states that, when an alternating voltage is applied to the primary winding of the transformer, an alternating flux is produced in the core.
- This flux links both the winding magnetically and induces emf in the secondary coil according to Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction.
