For sum to be maximum, we will consider only positive terms

44 + 42 + ....... + 2

or 2 + 4 + 6 + ..... + 42 + 44

2[1 + 2 + 3 + ..... + 22]

=2[22×23]2=506


Alternative Solution:

Sum of even Natural Numbers = n(n+1)

We have series 2 + 4 + 6 + ..... + 44

So by putting values in formula:

= 22 × (22 + 1) = 506
