Solution

The reaction between barium hydroxide and ammonium chloride is an endothermic reaction. Heat is absorbed during endothermic reaction, fall in temperature is observed. SO NH3 and H20 not formed.

Ba(OH)2 +2NH4Cl → BaCl2 +2NH4OH

This reaction is called double displacement reaction.
