Pancreas functions both as an endocrine  and as an exocrine gland. Such a gland is nicknamed as a heterocrine gland. 

As an endocrine gland it produces Insulin  and glucagon to regulate blood sugar levels  throughout the day and as an exocrine gland it produces enzymes called 

trypsin and chymotrypsin which help to digest proteins,  amylase which helps to digest sugars (carbohydrates). and Pancreatic lipase  which helps to digest fat.
