The materials that are attracted by a magnet are called magnetic materials. Metals like iron, nickel and cobalt are magnetic materials. Whereas silver, copper are some metals which are non magnetic. Hence, not all metals are magnetic materials.
The materials that are not attracted by a magnet are called non-magnetic materials. Example plastic, wood, glass etc. These all are non-metals too. Hence all non-metals are always non-magnetic.
