Answers: (a) and (d).

Detergents are cleaning agents which have at the properties of soap, but which actually does not contain any soap. They are of three types which given below
1. Anionic detergents These are sodium salts of sulfonated long chain alcohols or hydrocarbons.

2. Cationic detergents These are quarternary ammonium salts of amines with acetates chlorides or bromides as anions e.g.,
