Solution

The correct options are
A Adipic acid
D Hexamethylene diamine
Nylon is the first fully processed synthetic fibre which is made from polyamides. Hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid are the monomers that make up polyamide, a polymer.

During the production of nylon, solid chips of polyamides are melted and forced through a heated spinneret, which has very tiny holes. These fibres can then be spun or woven when it becomes solid, after cooling.
