A paramagnetic molecule is a molecule in which there are unpaired electron i.e., which has some magnetic moment or are attracted or repelled in the presence of magnetic field.
In the question, it is asked that which of the given molecules is not a paramagnetic means, the molecule which has no unpaired electrons in its molecular orbitals.
According to Molecular Orbital Theory (MOT), these electrons fill in MO's and AMO's. Electronic configuration of $$O_2^-$$ is $$\sigma1s^2\: \sigma^*1s^2\: \sigma2s^2\: \sigma^*2s^2\: \sigma2pz^2\: \pi2p_x^2\: \pi2p_y^2\: \pi^*2p_x^2\: \pi^*2p_y^1$$. In the last anti-bonding orbitals, there is one unpaired electron and hence, $$O_2^-$$ shows "paramagnetism".
Similarly, $$N_2^-$$ and $$NO$$ have unpaired electrons in the last Mo's so they are paramagnetic.
And $$S^{2-}$$ has no unpaired electron in its MO's, so, it is diamagnetic.
